Ever wondered how Braille came about and how it works?Well it’s amazing what can be done with six dots and it now gets its own day each year. To mark world Braille day, Simon tells the story of Louis Braille, how his invention was created but like a lot of great inventions nearly didn’t get off the ground. Simon explains  the important part it played in his education, and why he believes even in this day and age of computers and various technological solutions Braille shouldn’t be forgotten because it can still do things that technology can’t. After all you can’t read print through the page when you are told to turn your notes over so you can’t cheat.
