Zoo offers discounted tickets for benefit claimants

Throughout March, claimants of Universal Credit and other selected benefits can visit Dudley Zoo and Castle from just £6, saving 70% on standard adult admission prices,

The discounted tickets are available for claimants of Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support and Jobseeker’s Allowance and allow entry any day between March 1st - 31st.

Zoo Director, Derek Grove said: “As a charity, we want everyone to be able to have the opportunity to visit and not only see the fantastic animals and castle our 40-acre site houses but also discover more about the wonderful natural world around us.

“We‘re trialling this offer to ensure the zoo is available to as wide a range of family budgets as possible and we would be delighted if it enabled people to visit us who wouldn’t otherwise be able to.”

The discounted tickets are only available to purchase online with families able to purchase up to six tickets per household. Eligible proof and named ID, alongside a booking confirmation will need to be shown upon arrival.
