A 65-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Wrens Nest has been released without charge.
Police were called to a house in Hillside Road at 8.57am on Wednesday morning and found a 55-year-old with serious injuries. She died at the scene.
A post mortem has revealed she died from a single stab wound to the chest.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious and has now been passed to the coroner.
