Wetherspoons set to sell Stourbridge pub

One of two Wetherspoons pubs in Stourbridge town centre has been put up for sale.

The Edward Rutland, which is part of the company’s Lloyds Bar chain, is now facing an uncertain future with staff being offered roles elsewhere.

It follows a company-wide review of its pub operation, which has led to it putting a number up for sale.

The firm, which also operates The Chequers Inn just yards away, says the Edward Rutland will remain open until it is sold.
