A warning’s been issued to builders and property developers to be on their guard after a house in Stourbridge, which is being refurbished, was broken into.
Burglars raided the property on Stourbridge Road in Lye at some point early last week, stealing a large number of expensive power tools.
Detectives believe the thieves may have become aware that the house was empty and being refurbished, as burglars tried to break in a second time later in the week.
Police have advised builders not to leave anything of value behind, especially if properties are being left empty.
