Emergency services had a busy time last night with two people taken to hospital and a car going into a house.

A crash closed The Parade in Dudley in both directions at around 3.30pm. Salop Street was also closed with police asking motorists to avoid the area.

Two people were taken Russells Hall Hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called out to a car that had gone into the side of a house in Pensnett.

The car smashed through a fence next to the house. A spokesman from Sandwell and Dudley Force Response said it was lucky no one was injured in the incident.
