Two arrested after Stourbridge knife threat

Two people are in custody after a boy aged 14 was assaulted and threatened with a knife in Stourbridge.

Police were called to open space near Swanfield Road around 6.15pm on Sunday. The boy suffered injuries which are not life-threatening and a bag containing items including his phone was also taken from him.

Detectives have been investigating including speaking to witnesses and conducting a thorough review of CCTV.

On Monday night, officers arrested a man aged 36 and a boy aged 12 in connection with the incident. Both are currently in custody and will be questioned on suspicion of robbery.
