Police in Oldbury have arrested three teenage boys following a pursuit with a stolen car through Oldbury at the weekend.
Officers spotted the car, believed to be linked to an attempted burglary that happened in Halesowen, just before 4am.
The vehicle, which had been reported stolen in a carjacking on Valentines Day in Weoley Castle failed to stop for police on Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury. Following a short pursuit it came to a halt when it crashed on Titford Road. Thankfully, no one was injured. A spokesperson for the force said:
"Cannabis and a knife were recovered and are being examined by forensic experts, as we continue with our investigation.
"One 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of burglary and robbery. The other 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery, possessing a weapon and drugs. The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery. They all remain in custody today as we question them."
