Intu Merry Hill will be hosting SpongeBob SquarePants Laughter Parties this half term week, with a free range of family activities and action-packed fun and laughs. 

Visitors to the centre will be able to dive into SpongeBob SquarePants’ world of Bikini Bottom to join the ultimate sea bed laughter party including the Giggle Groove silent disco, Snail Slalom racing, Laughter Limbo and more. Intu have teamed up with Nickelodeon UK and Ireland to host a series of SpongeBob SquarePants Laughter Parties until Saturday 9th April at 'The Grove' from 11.00am to 4.00pm each day. 

All activities are free with no prior booking required. The activities are open to all ages but are particularly suitable for children in pre-school and early years, and parents and guardians who never got around to growing up. 

Research carried out ahead of the Easter break by intu revels that of the 2,000 parents surveyed, half laugh just once a day or less with their children, with 28 per cent of parents saying that they found it stressful keeping their children entertained. However, two thirds (66 per cent) believed that laughter is a great way to help relieve stress, followed by fun family activities at 55 per cent.

"We want our customers to be happier when they leave us than when they first walk through the doors. So, for the Easter break we’ve created an exciting programme of activities in partnership with Nickelodeon for parents and children to laugh along together with SpongeBob SquarePants.”
