Sandwell celebrates this year’s International Women’s Day ‘leadership’ theme with women who have led from the frontline throughout the pandemic.
Council and NHS staff star in a video made to mark the day. Sandwell Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Maria Crompton, said:
“This great video - made by women - draws attention to the difference individuals make every day, putting themselves on the line in so many ways.
“We wanted to shine the spotlight on our key council and NHS workers – the real heroes. The council is committed to an inclusive workplace, where women’s careers can thrive and everyone’s achievements are celebrated.”
