Rogue gardener hit with court bill

A rogue gardener from Dudley who made false claims on Facebook and then carried out shoddy work, has landed a hefty court bill.

James Worsey, of Halesowen Road, who traded as KJGS Gardening Services, was ordered by Dudley Magistrates to pay £2,360 after admitting being involved in a fraudulent business.

The court heard how two customers paid Worsey to carry out garden improvements after seeing his false claims to have had a number of satisfied clients.

In both cases he failed to advise of cancellation rights and carried out work of such poor quality it had to be re-done.
