Prize draw raises money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

The annual Christmas prize draw at Rowley Regis Local office has raised £300 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Officers donated many items for the draw and Sandwell Leisure Trust and Sainsbury's donated vouchers.

A number of prize winners came to collect their prizes today at Rowley Regis Local in Payne Street, Blackheath, which covers the Blackheath, Cradley Heath and Old Hill, Rowley Regis and Tividale wards. Winners were presented with prizes by local councillors and council officers.

Paul Evans won the first prize large hamper. Councillor Susan Eaves, Rowley Regis town chair, said:

"I would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets for this year's draw, all raising money for a very important cause."
