Netherton man admits murdering his wife

A man has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife at their Netherton home.

54 year-old Jacqueline Abbott was found with head injuries at a house in Lodge Crescent in December last year.

Her husband, Paul Abbott, was subsequently arrested and admitted her murder when he appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday.

The 56-year-old was remanded in custody to reappear at the same court next month.
