A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a lorry this morning.
The incident happened at 11.56am on Brettell Lane in Stourbridge. One ambulance, a MERIT trauma doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:
“On arrival, ambulance staff found the motorcyclist, a man, lying in the road. He was quickly assessed and treated for multiple serious injuries before being transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham by land ambulance.
“The MERIT doctor travelled on the back of the ambulance to help continue treatment as the patient was transported to hospital on blue lights and sirens.”
