Man told to compensate victim after Stourbridge bar fight

Wolverhampton Crown Court

A Kidderminster man who attacked another man in a fight at a bar in Stourbridge has been ordered to pay compensation to his victim.

25-year-old Luke Lamb assaulted Luke Barnett at Lloyds Bar on the High Street without realising Mr. Barnett had already sustained a fractured jaw.

The court heard that Mark Harris, also from Kidderminster, had hit Mr. Barnett when an altercation broke out, before Lamb then punched him, leaving him with a black eye.

Lamb admitted assault and was ordered to pay £500 compensation and £250 costs, while Harris admitted causing grievous bodily harm and will be sentenced next week.
