A 28-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, after officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in The Crescent, Bilston.
James Nicholls was charged with possession of a knife, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance.
He was remanded and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.
