Man arrested after shop worker threatened in West Bromwich

A man has been arrested after a shop worker was threatened in High Street, West Bromwich, and items stolen, on 20 February.

Whilst officers were on patrol in Wednesbury, a man aged 40 was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident.

He remains in custody for questioning.

Retail workers should be able to undertake their job without fear and Police are committed to tackling offenders and supporting retailers in reducing staff assaults and threatening behaviour.
