Christmas celebrations started in Halesowen at the weekend as the town switched on its Christmas Lights to crowds of local people.
Weatherman Des Coleman flicked the big switch to welcome in the festive season, as the stage was hosted by Dan Richards and Matt Dudley from Black Country Radio.
The fun included two converted buses at Lifecentral Church with soft play facilities, a full nail bar and gaming lounge. Market stalls, competitions, free crafts, a photo booth and refreshments also kept people entertained throughout the day.
Special guests also included the deputy Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Andrea Goddard, who applauded the festivities. she said:
"Halesowen is the first of our town centre Christmas events and what a way to bring in the festive season. It was great to see so many people in the town having fun."
Christmas lights in Stourbridge will be switched on, on Saturday 26 November and both Dudley and Brierley Hill will be lighting up their decorations on Saturday 3 December.
