Gaming festival returns to Birmingham NEC

Gaming fans are invited to prepare for the ultimate celebration of gaming and gaming culture as Insomnia returns for another action-packed year at Birmingham's NEC in April.

Established over 20 years ago, the gaming festival offers a weekend jammed to the rafters with non-stop gaming. Fans can meet fellow players and celebrity guests, hang out with their favourite creators, attend panels, and compete in tournaments for prizes.

Players can also tackle classic titles on a range of familiar consoles in the retro area or give the screens a rest and take things analogue with an unrivalled collection of dice, trading card and TTRPG titles in the tabletop area.

Festival goers will have the chance to meet and greet celebrities including American actor and director, Doug Cockle, known for his work as Geralt of Rivia in the Witcher video game series and Stephanie Panisello, known for voicing Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil series.

Day tickets start from £27 and weekend passes kick off at £79, with a host of add-ons and goodies available, including weekend camping with early festival access.
