Children and families enjoyed fun on the Youth Bus, advice and entertainment at the launch of a new project to help young people in the transition to secondary school.
The iTrust Sandwell scheme, which will support children going in to Year 7 at Phoenix Collegiate Academy, West Bromwich, and Shireland Collegiate Academy, Smethwick, was launched last week. More than 80 children and families were at the event at the Brasshouse Centre.
The Government-funded iTrust Sandwell project will support young people and families to make positive choices and deal with change during the move to secondary school.
For more information about iTrust Sandwell, families with Year 7 children at Phoenix or Shireland Collegiate can find out more about the project online or call 07768 464378.
