A steam and country fair is coming to Himley Park this summer, kicking off on Sunday 5 June.
The historic Himley Hall and Park will be hosting the popular event, which is now in its third year, evolving from the former Steamer Sunday to now include a whole range of other vintage vehicles and a large country fair.
This year’s event build on past successes and besides being open to all types of vintage vehicles, organisers are introducing a Country Fair theme which will include arts and crafts, fine foods, vintage stalls, ethnic hand crafted collectables and unique and unusual artefacts.
Visitors can stroll through the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of a fine collection of full size and miniature traction engines, fairground organs and vintage vehicles and take the opportunity to chat to owners about their exhibit. The event is free to attend.
To bring a vehicle along to exhibit or to request a stall at this event, contact Jacki Wynn, assistant events officer on 01384 817822 or by email to jacki.wynn@dudley.gov.uk.
Himley Hall is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, and Bank Holiday Monday, between 2-5pm. Admission is free, for more information call 01384 817817 or visit himleyhall.gov.uk.
