All ages are welcome to come along to the next Careers in Sandwell event on Tuesday 6 February as part of National Apprenticeship Week

Visitors can find out how to apply for an apprenticeship with Sandwell Council, Sandwell schools or with local employers. All you need to do is drop into the Council Chamber at Sandwell Council House in Oldbury between 2:00pm and 5:30pm.

It’s free to come along and you can meet advisors from Think Sandwell Employment and Skills, employers with live job and apprenticeship vacancies plus services who can support you to find work and training.

You will also be able to meet current Sandwell apprentices and learn about their journey.

You can book online to get tickets for the event. Councillor Simon Hackett, Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Education, said:

“This is a fabulous event offering expertise and advice on careers to people of all ages, including children and young people. It’s a great way to mark National Apprenticeship Week and highlight opportunities that are available all year round."
