Keepers at the Castle Hill attraction are appealing for help in tracing the owners of a lost Alexandrine parakeet, currently being cared for by staff.
The green-coloured bird was found in Dudley Market Place on Friday June 10th and taken to the zoo, with Senior Keeper Lesley Lewis temporarily taking it under her wing. Lesley said:
“The bird is obviously a pet and seems to have quite a character!
“It’s very beautiful so we’d love to reunite it with its rightful owner as soon as possible as someone must be missing it.”
