Dudley schoolgirl's Christmas drawing chosen as favourite by Prince Charles

Prince Charles and Arwen Wilson

A Dudley schoolgirl’s special Christmas drawing is going to be featured on festive second class stamps, after Prince Charles picked her design as his favourite.

Nine-year-old Arwen Wilson, who goes to St Chad’s Catholic Primary School, said she was “so happy” to win the competition organised by Royal Mail.

She met the Prince at Clarence House, his official residence in London, where he presented her with a framed copy of her stamp.

Arwen also won £1,000 in vouchers and £1,000 for her school as part of the contest.
