Council to pump more cash into tackling potholes

Dudley Council is to spend an extra £164,000 into tackling potholes across the borough, which have been caused by the recent severe weather.

Snow and ice have taken their toll on the borough’s roads causing damage to the carriageway.

Earlier this year the council was given £238,000 to help deal with the problem. Now the government has announced the extra cash for the council.
