Local author, Damian, will be appearing at Gornal Library on Wednesday 21st May at 7.00 pm to delve into the world of ancient Egypt. Remarkable women from this period often remain in the shadow of their male counterparts but many of these women were not only equal to their husbands but excelled them in various ways. Damian will uncover their stories in an entertaining evening. There will be chance to ask questions and buy copies of the book to be signed by the author. Light refreshments will be available.
