Appeal following Wolverhampton collision

Police in Wolverhampton are appealing for information following a serious collision on Tuesday 23rd June.

Officers were called to Wood End Avenue at about 8.20pm, where a 39-year-old motorcyclist was found with a leg injury. The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the black Vauxhall Astra remained at the scene and continues to help with enquiries. Sergeant Dean Caswell from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“Our enquiries are continuing to establish what happened that evening. I am really keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the black Vauxhall Astra or motorcycle before the collision took place and I would also ask anyone who has any dashcam footage of the collision to get in touch."
