Subtitled 'the musings of a Black Country ex-pat now domiciled on the Welsh border' Tales From The Barn started life in 2016 following writer and broadcaster Graham Fisher moving with his family to the land of Celtic legend.
The 'Barn' referred to is not a figment of poetic licence but does actually exist and lies in the lee of the Black Mountains.
The general theme of the tales is observations on aspects of Graham’s former homeland from the perspective of his present one and often features some element of direct contrast or comparison between the two. The tales also go some way in defining both the Black Country and the borderlands as to what make its respective peoples so distinctive.
