Families across the Black Country are being invited to jingle all the way to Walsall this December to experience the magic of Christmas in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice.
The Acorns Black Country Christmas Fete will be packed with stalls, games and seasonal treats and will be a budget-friendly way to kick-start the festive season while helping to support seriously ill children and their families.
There will be merry music, gift and craft stalls, toy sale bargains, and a special prize raffle - and one of the star attractions will be pony petting and feeding. Families are also being encouraged to wear their best Christmas jumper for the chance to win a special prize.
The event takes place on Saturday, 6th December, from 10am to 3pm at Yew Tree and Tamebridge Community Centre. Entry is just £2 for adults and free for under 16s.
Emma Rolinson, Area Fundraiser for Acorns, said: “We’d love people to put on the best festive jumpers and come along for a fantastic, feel-good day out, while helping Acorns to provide vital care for local children and their families when they need it the most.
“As well as being your one-stop shop for sleigh-ing your Christmas shopping list and keeping the whole family entertained, it’ll be the perfect way to start your festive season.”
