Woman killed in Stourbridge collision is named

A woman who died following a collision in Wordsley, near Stourbridge earlier this month has been named as Phyllis May Fielding.

Phyllis, aged 88, died on Friday 8 September, following a collision with a delivery van in Lawnswood Road, around 1:15pm.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics, but despite their best efforts, Phyllis later died in hospital. The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting the police with their investigations. 

He family said: “We are utterly devastated to have lost our loving mom, nan and great-nan in such tragic circumstances. We, as a family, ask for privacy and time to grieve at this very difficult time.”
